| Another nighttime shot, this was taken from the Colorado River on the border of Arches National Park. It was on the "Canyonlands by Night Sound & Light Show" boat ride. We've done that tour twice now and enjoyed it very much both times! You can see a sliver of a crescent moon in the upper left. |

| Each year there are a number of "supermoons" when the full or new moon occurs when the moon is closest to the Earth. Last August was the "largest" supermoon of 2014. I haven't taken a lot of nighttime shots---but was lucky enough to be on the Beartooth Highway during that time. Here is my shot of the August supermoon! |

| A trip to Glacier isn't complete without a trip down the east side of the Going-to-the-Sun Highway. At the bottom of the pass is St. Mary's Lake and this often photographed scenic with the tiny Wild Goose Island in the middle of the picture. |

| McDonald Creek offers a beautiful example of he characteristic turquoise blue water found in Glacier National Park. The turquoise coloring is from glacial flour, which is the fine particulates suspended in the water and is caused by the grinding of rocks when glaciers slide over them. |
